A Letter From the Pastor
Dear alumni and friends of LCMNU,
LCMNU is ready for the 2026-2027 academic year to begin, and this year marks the 80th anniversary of a Lutheran presence at Northwestern University! (NU Archives show a presence of 100+ years!) As a campus pastor, I'm often asked this question: How do you know if your campus ministry is making an impact on students? I see it in the students who recognize that being woven into this larger story that is God's love shapes their lives now, gives direction and hope, and converts them to being agents of love and change. At LCMNU, we also have the gift of YEARS of alumni who can witness to the ways in which this campus ministry was a touchstone for their faith development and continues to inform how they live out their vocation to love in the world!
