Spring 2026

Students at Lutherdale Retreat Feb ‘26

A Message From the Development Chair

Dear Alumni and Friends of LCMNU,

The year is just beginning, but winter quarter at Northwestern is already more than half over! Students at the ministry have been busy with fellowship and service events, including ice skating, a winter retreat at Lutherdale, preparing meals and hosting a Valentine’s Day event at Margarita Inn, and hosting a trivia night fundraiser. February is also when students elect new Leaders to serve on the Student Leadership Board, who will take a particularly active role in shaping the ministry over the next year–discerning priorities for the ministry and planning events. These stories, from a current student, an alum, and a volunteer, touch on the important and unique role of LCMNU in the lives of students. LCMNU is a place of rest from classes and of intentional focus on community. It is where students can grow, learn about their faith, and practice their vocation as members of a strong faith community. Thank you for your continued support of LCMNU.

Peace, Johnathan Frank (‘21), Vice President LCMNU Board of Directors
